Services for those who choose a
Direct Non-Service Cremation
Sometimes (and for various reasons) a decision is made not to have a traditional Funeral Service immediately after a loved one dies.
The decision can be made based on financial ability at the time, or for other personal reasons.
This doesn't mean you can't have a beautiful goodbye at a later time. Sometimes the circumstances in which someone passes is traumatic and you may feel unable to deal with the decision of a funeral at the time. I can arrange with you something more appropriate to your needs. Cremation allows you all the time you need.
Once you have liaised with the Funeral Home and the Cremation has occurred, a week or so later you will be able to collect the remains of your loved one and take them home. This is often when families are able to give consideration to what they would like to do to honour their life.
Maybe you would like to have a beautiful park bench in your own private garden in their memory, or would like to inter their ashes with other loved ones in an existing burial grave or wall within a Cemetery. (You will need to liaise with the appropriate authorities with regards to this). I can attend and say beautiful words allowing you to feel you have done all you can to lay them to rest. I have performed many memorial services in function rooms overlooking beaches and parks and even at the family home.
Regardless of what you decide, remember, its your decision. The beauty of using a private Funeral Celebrant is that they are there to honour YOUR wishes, so you feel you have honoured your loved ones.
